Ways To Help

There are no permanent source of Income for the Monastery and its occupants. They solely rely on donation and sponsorship from the villagers that support the goals of the monastery which is essential to the survival and development of the monastery.

Accommodation is still poor, sanitary facilities are still rudimentary. There are no proper classroom and not enough teachers to keep up with the growing number of students. The financial burden of looking after such a growing community is quite considerable. Income comes from offerings for prayers and puja's done on behalf of others.

We appeal to your generosity in order to continue with our work of providing a place of study and practice to young people of the Himalayan region, and to preserve the religious and cultural heritage of Tibet.

You can help us provide the daily needs for the monks and children of Pal Boudha by donating to any of the following funds. The monastery will acknowledge all donations and the donors' name will be included in the daily prayers of the monks.

General donation - helps pay for the day to day expenses of the monastery
Sponsorship Fund - directly covers the living and education costs of the monks
Building Project - buildling new hostel, kitchen and dining area.
School Project - building new school for the future of the younger generation
